LL-37

LL-37 is a human antimicrobial peptide with preclinical and early clinical evidence for topical wound healing, particularly in chronic venous leg ulcers (68% area reduction at 0.5 mg/mL in a small RCT). Mechanism involves direct antimicrobial activity and promotion of tissue regeneration. Human data remains limited to small trials.
