Tesofensine
Tesofensine is a triple monoamine reuptake inhibitor that demonstrated 9-12% weight loss over 24 weeks in Phase 2/3 clinical trials, making it one of the more effective investigational obesity agents. Originally developed for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, it has been repurposed as an anti-obesity compound. Human trial data exists but it remains investigational and not FDA-approved.
