Thymosin Beta-4

Thymosin Beta-4 is a naturally occurring 43-amino acid peptide with demonstrated efficacy in tissue repair and wound healing in human pilot and Phase II studies. Clinical data shows 67% complete healing vs 25% placebo in pressure ulcer trials, with a Phase I safety study establishing acceptable tolerability at doses up to 1260 mg IV. Human evidence remains limited to small trials and pilot studies; widespread clinical adoption is not yet established.
